Stationary Stick Saves

A basic drill with great importance! Too often goalies do not use their stick and rely on their pad to make the save which often causes uncontrolled rebounds. This stationary stick save drill helps goalies realize the importance of their stick and forces them to use it to elevate pucks into the corners. After the goalie has mastered this drill, have the shooter rotate the side they are aiming to add an element of surprise for the goalie.
