2 Shot Recovery
One of our quick drills to help goaltenders improve their ability to recover quickly to make second and third saves in game situations. Specifically, this drill helps goalies to recover to their feet when given enough time and to pivot and slide to make the save when the shot is in tight to the net. This drill should be done on both sides.
Key Points
* Work hard to recover to fee when possible
* Use core muscles to pivot body and slide with the right angle
* Use straight line movements when moving in the crease
* Don’t forget to repeat this drill on both sides of the net
